Most watches companies do not make their own movements. Quality watch makers buy their movements from mostly ETA, the Swatch Group owner mega movement maker. In 2010 however, ETA will stop selling its movements to outside companies. It will continue to provide movements for it's house brands, of which there are several. ETA is part of the Swatch Group which makes a number of brands as seen in the link. Hamilton Khaki Navy GMT - How to Use?
Greetings everyone! I just bought a Hamilton Khaki Navy GMT (Hamilton Watch ¡¤ Navy GMT). Beautiful watch, I absolutely love it! But, I have a question that the manual doesn't seem to go into great detail about. How do you actually use the extra functions of the bezel? On this watch you can use one of the crowns to turn the outer bezel, another crown to set the "city" that is displayed in the small window on the bezel and then the third crown to set the normal time and the "T2" setting. I just don't understand how all the settings work together or how to set them correctly to work with each other. I assume, perhaps incorrectly, that how the outer bezel is set, how the T2 is set and how the city is set all work together but it eludes me as to how.Could someone in the know provide a brief (or detailed...up to you) explanation of how these watches work?
