Hey guys ! ! !When we were at the NAWCC Indiana Regional last month I bought this watch for only $150.00 ! ! ! ! ! YES, ONLY $150.00 ! ! ! ! ! ! This is NOT a typo ! ! ! ! !It's a 1924 Tiffany & Company Longines with a SWEEP SECOND HAND ! ! ! ! Having a SWEEP SECOND hand back in 1924 is EXTREMELY RARE ! ! ! ! !The sterling silver case serial number and the movement serial numbers are MATCHING ! ! ! !ALL ORIGINAL ! ! ! ! ! Also VERY rare for these numbers to be matching in 1924 ! ! ! !Our friend Adam contacted Longines and they said that it was originally invoiced on February 28, 1924 and that it has the 11.62 calibre movement.Anyway, I sold this watch for $400.00 in it's broken, non-running condition.I was COMPLETELY unaware that it was missing the clutch lever spring, so I refunded his money.I was also unaware how RARE this watch was when I sold it, found out afterwords and regretted the sale.VERY GLAD that I got it back and I could not refund his money fast enough ! ! ! ! !I con

The AP Bug has bitten again :)
Just got the AP Jumbo 15202 and really happy with this special piece. It was between this or the 15400 in the end after trying on and reading about the history and heritage of the royal oak it was a no brainer decision. In fact if funds allow I would get the 15400 in blue as well as I hear its being discontinued and it would be great as a daily wearer while the Jumbo for more special occasions. I used to own a rubber clad offshore and a Safari years ago both of which is no longer in my collection today but at this time I am interested in getting an offshore to complement the dressier Jumbo. Which offshore would you recommend? Thinking of:- The steel 44mm chrono offshore - Diver in steel- Panda chrono 42mm- Safari again ?- bumble bee Thanks for your suggestions and advise ..

Speedmaster Crystal Replacement
Looking for my first Speedmaster, and my thinking is getting a 1978 145.022-78. (It's my birth year).However I have found one that looks to be in decent shape (for the age) but it has had the crystal replaced by Omega to a new Hesalite Crystal. To my limited knowledge, this seems to take away from the vintage nature of the piece, but then again... I am told it is very common for watches of this era to have the crystal replacement. Can anyone tell me whether this is the norm for vintage Speedmasters and/or what that does to the perceived value. I don't intend to resell, but I just want to make sure I'm not sabotaging the vintage aspect of my first Speedmaster

After doing a fair bit of searching on this forum, I have not found much information on this particular Omega De Ville watch.It belongs to my grandfather and it eventually will be mine. All I know is that it was purchased some time in the 1970's and is 18K gold. The original strap was replaced due to wear and tear.If anyone can shed some light on this particular model of watch, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,A close friend is debating if he should buy the classic sub with date or the SD43. It will be his first and most likely only Rolex. Which one would you chose and why?I think the SD43 as it's an anniversary model as he mentioned that this will be his only one... well I told him that I said the same when I bought my first Sub 10 years ago lol.Cheers,Alex
