Invicta 12661 wrist watches news:
Hello all, been super busy, so excuse me if we've discussed this previously.Has there been any talk of AP releasing their own chrono movement (other than simple forum chatter)? With so many other companies shying away from utilizing anything other than 'in house', it seems AP would follow suit. I'm very curious if this is a possibility in the next year or two as I'm strongly considering a 15400 purchase. However, I would actually prefer a 42mm ROO if they changed to in house movements. Call me snobby, but I just dislike the idea of dropping so much $ on a watch without in house.Thoughts?
I enjoy looking up the exact phase of the moon on the Patek website to set my 5712 when I put in in rotation. At the risk of sounding stupid - duh, they looked at the moon, dummy - how did these things get set precisely before the internet ? Perhaps published in the newspapers ?
This company is pretty well known. Is it just me, or do these dials look really weird? Below is my 116500.The ¡°Rolex¡± on the dial is cartoonish big. I¡¯m shocked they¡¯d post this photo and advertise these watches.
Same dive rating, yet a tale of two very different watches. I was fortunate enough to acquire both over the last two weeks. I believe the SD4K is destined to be a true classic, but the SD43 is also important in marking a turning point in the SD's legacy.Which one do you prefer, and why? I'd love to hear everyone's take on it!
