The Magrette saga continues with two new watches. These new pieces serve a very specific purpose. They offer the beauty of Magrette's hand-done Maori style engraving, but in a more subtle manner. Allowing most of the visible PVD black case to be masculine and strong in appearance. Each comes in a limited edition set of just 25 pieces. There is just one master engraver responsible for each piece.The Kaitiaka and Kai Kaha watches are very similar, each even being the same price. The difference is the caseback style and design. The Magrette Kia Kaha (meaning "be strong") has a solid steel caseback with a beautiful engraving on its polished surface. Most brands that seemingly come out of nowhere tend to take a subtle approach to their entry into the watch market. An ad here, a viral campaign there, but not usually a full on marketing assault. Well, Bomberg, whom we ran a brief intro to not long ago, appeared out of the void and isn't taking a back seat on building brand awareness. I made a post about this one a couple of months back, some loss of plating on the caseback, logo off dial. this one came to me in a swap deal and I just put it in a box and never bothered with it. I asked a question of maybe putting the ETA 2892-2 movement in a different branded watch, I believe a couple of you asked why Anyways I sent it off to the local RW agents and had them fix the logo and give an opinion of the plate loss. I got it back today and the logo is fixed and they reckon that with the plate loss being only on the caseback and not visible when worn, maybe it is not needed to get it fixed. I have worn it for the past few hours, guess what I really like it and cannot believe I let it sit in a box for nearly a year.

Hello Everyone,I am looking to make my purchase my first watch and here is a little background.My wrist are on the skinny side, 6.75. The watch will be an everyday watch and not look out of place in the gym or with a suit. The blue dial aqua terra seems to fit the bill perfectly and I could swap out the straps to dress it up or down. My question is on the width. I have heard people complain that it is tall, and I was wondering how big of an issue that would be on a smaller wrist when wearing dress attire? While I don't wear a suit constantly, I do wear long sleeve button up shirts a lot of the time. The last thing I want is to be fussing with pulling my cuff over the watch.Thanks for any advice! I appreciate it beings I am so new to all this.

Hello,So far fetched question that I want/need advice on. I found a Rolex being sold online, however, with the seller being in another state I don¡¯t have the ability to meet and see this timepiece at an AD to confirm authenticity. If I could coordinate the seller with a local AD to have authenticity confirmed...would an AD be willing to ship it for me? Anyone ever do nything like this or have another idea? Thanks for the help!
