Greetings,after owning an Omega Speedmaster for the last 15 years,i'm thinking of upgrading,and toying with the idea of purchasing a Patek 5085/1a as I like the look of it with the metal bracelet.Prices of these models are currently in the 18000 us dollars/12000 GB pounds range.A couple of questions,was this watch mostly exported to North America? as I'm having problems locating one in the UK as I don't want to pay import tax.Also,what was the original cost when new,and how much,if at all are these particular pieces likely to drop in the coming years?.I'm in no rush to buy one immediately so waiting a while is no problem but I think I will take the plunge soon acting upon good advice.Patek-5085-Ark-1b.jpg

Nothing beats a single keeper strap that's period correct for a vintage watch..except when it's a NOS single keeper strap. Scott at Times of Plenty is selling the springbar tool you see for a measly $12 including shipping. It came in yesterday, and I picked up the NOS suede Gemex strap from him a couple months ago. So technically you could say "This Flagship brought to you by ToP".
