Breguet introduced somewhat of a show-stopper with its new 7077 La Tradition Chronograph this year. The La Tradition line is no stranger to innovation - e.g. the Fusée Tourbillon - but the 7077 Chronograph represents quite a bit of technical innovation. For starters, it essentially contains two movements and a complete separation of timekeeping versus chronograph-ing accuracy. Literally. One balance is always in full swing, while the other springs into higher-frequency action when activating the chronograph. 1 OF 3 The new 7077 Chronograph is almost completely open-worked. Front and center at 12 o'clock is a sub dial with hob-nail pattern guilloche work in the expected Breguet style. Hamilton GE Savitar II Electric Watch - Strap or bracelet?
I currently own a Hamilton GE Savitar II electric watch. I am wondering what the original strap or band was for this version of the Savitar II. In Rene Rondeau's most recent edition of his book, on page 196, there is a picture of this watch with a brown leather or lizard strap. However, I'm wondering if it could have come with the original gold tone Savitar II bracelet. Appreciate all of your feedback on this one. Longines Master Collection Moon Phase watch Question
Does anyone own one of these watches? Could you give me a more detail information of all the functions of this watch.I went to the Longines website and it tells a little about the watch but not much. Would like to know if besides the 30 minute counter, does it have the hour counter for the chronograph function? Also, I see they mention 24 hour, does it have a second time zone function?TIA

I (still, but for how long?) have a good job, a good family, a good life and good health. I can indulge in some of the finer things in life. I'm a TRF bastid . What could one ask for more?Well..... To be the proprietor of a small caf¨¦ in Ericeira, Portugal. Or to live in Malang, Indonesia. As our daughter is about to 'leave the nest', Anne and myself are contemplating such a move ever more and ever more seriously. Our country is changing rapidly and I must say, not to the good. To put it bluntly, we are fed up with it.We feel stangled by all the rules, suffocated by the ever rising taxes and lack of compasion. Tax free day starts here on the 27th of July. Insane! Although it probably will remain a pipe dream, I can't get it out of my head. So, are there any other esteemed TRF members that sometimes have the same thoughts?
