I really loved getting this e-mail. It makes sense too. A watch company using daylight saving time (DST) as a reason to send out an piece of marketing e-mail. You'd think more watch companies would do this. I don't really have many people reminding me to do this, and with the new times for DST lately (thanks Congress!), it is more difficult than ever to remember. Being two days from now, Ernst Benz is the only company that took this opportunity to "say hi."What is funnier is the little message at the lower part of the image above, suggesting that if you need help adjusting the watch you should take it in to your local Ernst Benz dealer. Frankly, if you don't know how to adjust your watch back or forward one hour, you need to be hit in the face repeatedly and placed in the same rehabilitation home that they send people on airplanes who need help "fastening their seat buckle." AP polished for the first time by APSC.
My AP Elephant is polished for the first time by the Audemars Piguet Service Center combined with a full service and eh.. I don¡¯t like it. The ¡°matt¡± grey texture on the back of the case and the backside of the pinbuckle is gone. Also, the ¡°AP¡± logo on the pinbuckle normally had some kind of contrast to the metal around it and now it doesn¡¯t. The bezel was ruined and had a hole but is done very well but that was also the reason that I decided to do a polish.Overall, the watch feels kind of strange and the screws in the lugholes seem like they are very close to the outside. I don¡¯t know what to think about it. I¡¯ll post some pics later on.

i traded in my 5167 for the 5164, as I figured it would come in handy while travelling. Its nearly as comfortable, and i like not having the date at 3.

What will happen to prices on the 5980r?
What will happen to the second hand market for a 5980R RG? I bought one new about 6 months ago for a pretty good price.Are prices going to shoot up now or in the not so distant future? Alternatively, will prices drop? Opinions are much appreciated.If pricing goes my way I will likely upgrade and get the 5980/1R-001.
