Ebel 181909 wrist watches news:
One of the most interesting watch fairs in the world is the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair?(put on by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council). Celebrating its 31st year, the 2012 fair will run from September 5 - 9 at the Hong Kong Convention Centre. This year aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer will be there, checking out the "world's biggest timepiece event." Is it bigger than BaselWorld? I will let you know. BaselWorld is rather massive and I've never actually been able to see it all. I am calling for recruits to help me divvy up next year's event. Serious horological explorers can contact me.Hong Kong is really one of the major centers of the watch world, for a number of important reasons. China is the largest manufacturer of watches and watch components. Most people know that many Swiss brands rely on Chinese suppliers for everything from cases and straps to boxes and presentation displays. Hong Kong is also one of the world's most active watch buying centers. The Hong Kong Watch & Cl
Hey Guys, I went to the AP boutique on 57th Street today and tried on the new black 42mm ROO with the CE bezel. (It¡¯s not for sale yet, just there to show off the 2018 novelties.)The grey Ti version hadn¡¯t arrived yet so I couldn¡¯t try it on, but they said it¡¯ll arrive Monday and be there for the week. The 42mm size has always been perfect for me, but I always wished they came with ceramic bezels, so obviously I was quite chuffed this year when I saw these. I¡¯m happy to say that it is every bit as cool as I thought it would be. It¡¯s crazy how just the addition of a ceramic bezel can make something so different. Enough words. Picture time. And just for fun, because I love the Ti 44 so much...
Hi guys just wanted to no if anyone has seen this before ? Seem like corrosion ?
I'm sure you hardened veterans have seen this a million times - a Rolex newbie trying to talk himself into doing something crazy...There is nothing rational about wanting a 116506, but here is the twisted logic I have created for myself, after going back and forth for several months now:1) The watch I spend the most $$$ on should be the one I wear the most. Therefore, a precious metal daily wearer.2) If it is going to be a daily wearer, then it has to be able to stand up to the abuse. Therefore, a sub/daytona/gmt.3) If it is going to get scratched up from daily wear, I need to be able to polish it on occasion without having to worry about wearing away the metal. Therefore, platinum. I can appreciate the patina, but then I can polish it back up and appreciate the bling every now and then. Ergo, must get Platinum Daytona. Oh yeah - and I also think it is a stunner, and I like the heft of it. And I can go back to my BLNR if I ever come to my senses. How does this sound? Am I missing anyth
Had a long layover yesterday in Miami.. been having a serious itch for something a little lower profile than the D-Blue/everyday wearer.....so I Ubered out and grabbed this!
