Jaeger LeCoultre Q16124SQ wrist watches news:
HI all,Came across this. The engraving on the caseback is case 2325, which would mean it should be a 30T2, but looking at pictures on the web, this movement doesn't look anything like it! Yes, the pictures aren't great quality, but I've never seen a 'square' movement (although I am a newbie). Could it be that the rest of the movement is under the 'covers'? Also, the Omega vintage watch database says this should be a press-in caseback - but isn't this image of a screw in? Also, two of the wheels are silvery colour, while the rest is coppTaDaniel
Does anyone know anything about the Hamilton S/S Khaki Chronograph item that is frequently on eBay? It claims to be a discontinued model, brand new with a Hamilton factory warranty, have an original retail of $1250, and run on the Valjoux 7750. The item typically goes for $430-500, and the seller seems forthcoming and on the up and up when I emailed him. Is this a legit item, and a good deal at that? It sounds to me like it is, but I wanted to get your opinions before I tried to snag one. Thanks!
hi all,i was at a watch store recently and found this brand in the case.never heard of it but i thought they were interesting and the price point seems ok.this is their web site, but i cannot translate.claudemeylan.ch/any owners or friends of owners out there who can offer any feedback?thanks
Guys,A Navitimer has been on my wish list for a while now and I foresee one in my future within the next few months. I have spent about 4 months deliberating between the 43mm or Vintage with a flirtation in between with the Sinn 903. Whilst preferring the Breitling I am more inclined to look towards the 41mm size hence Vintage would seem to be a logical choice. All that said Vintage is a new world for me, its a scary world at that and I am keen to avoid the likes of trusted sellers that may not be known to me or worse still the likes of ebay. With this in mind a Bricks and Mortar Vintage dealer would be a preferred choice - any tips on where to start looking?
I went today to service my breitling and the repair guy told me that my watch has some part broked inside my watch. They told me thatnwhere going to replace it with a new part and it need service the watch since it was never serviced before. He told me that part he was goingnto change he had it there and it was made by tudor i told him that why from tudor and his answer was. Because the same sompanynthat make those parts is the same that make it for tudor , omega , breitling ,etc can you guys help me to decided if this is true.?I for gotnthe name of the peace but it was like a little gold ring very little with edges all around it
