TAG Heuer CV2010.BA0794 wrist watches news:
WOW...this just looks unreal...what do you all think?--------------------------------------------------------------------This is the ultimate diver's chronograph watch - the brand new Sinn U1000 S (Schwarz - Black) EZM 6 Chronograph. This watch is packed with so much technology that fitting it all on one page is difficult. The CaseThe Sinn U1000 S is of course part of the best selling Sinn U series of diver's watches. Initially released three years ago, this series is constructed from the same steel that is used on the outer hull of submarines. The steel was procured by Sinn from a steel supplier to Emden GmbH, one of Germany¡¯s North Sea shipbuilding yards who construct submarines. This submarine steel is not only extraordinarily sea water resistant (PRE value up to 38), it also possesses the highest anti-magnetic quality. Next, the Sinn U1000 S features a completely Tegimented case, pushers, bezel and crown. Standard steel used by most watch companies has a hardness of between 200 and
For Baseworld, Rolex has released a new caliber, the 3255. New Rolex Calibre 3255 watches: Baselworld 2015Among the highlights, is that it has a 3 day power reserve, 14 patents, and the movement is calibrated to be twice as exacting as the COSC standard. Still, as I was reading the press release, many of the features reminded me of ETA's Powermatic 80, such as the new barrel, 3 days of power reserve, new, low friction materials, and COSC version.I realize that Rolex's new movement is produced to a much higher standard, and uses better materials, but shouldn't they have aimed a bit higher on the power reserve? It just seems to me, that at the prices Rolex commands, a seven day reserve should have been the minimum.I'm curious as to what you think and any insights you have on this new movement.
A few weeks ago I bought the original Bond quartz Seamaster 2541.80 off Craigslist at a good price. It is an older model with tritium dial and hands.I loved the size, feel etc and kept researching more. I came across the 2221.80 and knew I had to have it. I loved the red lettering, longer hands and applied markers and Omega logo. The prevailing price seemed to be around $1300-$1500. Got lucky and found a Craigslist seller that had one mint with upgraded gift box, book, links etc.I met last night and the watch was as pictured by the seller. The seller also had the Omega rubber strap # 98000085 with attached buckle in unused condition ( which ofrei sells for over $300). He threw it in with the deal....$1250 out the door. The luminosity on this 2221.80 is insane. Woke up at 6:30 am and it was still glowing brighter then my Rolex Yachtmaster.Thrilled with this watch, and the rubber strap was an unknown bonus...I was meeting him with the $1250 price agreed on and I got the Omega stra
ARGH.292 & 643 you taunt me!I don't know, I just can't deal with catastrophic failure of a drop or a strap change that results in a chipped lug. They look sooooooooo good.
As much as I have been enjoying the smooth bezel silver dial on oyster. I still could not stop peeking at the the blue dial fluted. After seeing smooth bezel on oyster bracelet, I hatched a plan. I slowly implemented it. The results are below.
