Would you have a problem if Omega made a quartz version of the Speedmaster Professional with the exact same look as the 1861 Hesalite version for let's say $800?What if they kept the inscription on the back? Would it be true?

Why am I not loving this Hamilton?
This arrived today. I was looking forward to it's arrival but now that it's here, it doesn't seem to have the same look and feel as any of my other Hamiltons. It certainly looks shiny and new.But the back feels like it's made of plastic, the Hamilton script is off center on the back and there's no hallmark. It's not the kind of detail I'd expect. This came fully equipped with an inner and outer box, as well as a warranty booklet and some kind of Hamilton embossed pad thingy. The band is also marked Hamilton but it's clear that it's only been lightly worn.Here's a shot of the crown side as well.So, am I imagining that this watch will look and feel different than all the late 50's and early 60's Hamiltons that I have or am I looking at some Souvenir Stand Hammy?I mean, is this the way these are?

New forum suggestion, LED LCD watches
I would love to see a forum dedicated to LED and LCD watches. Pulsars and their brethren are commanding higher and higher prices and the popularity is through the roof. It would be nice to have a forum dedicated solely to them. When you see Pulsar P1's bringing beyond $5K and non working later watches bringing in the hundreds having an active forum at one of the larger boards makes sense. I know it would make me happy to see. Anyway just my $.02 and I hope there are some others who agree.
