Invicta 1530 wrist watches news:
I thought it best to introduce myself to our gracious hosts and those who don't know be yet.My name is Jake. I'm one of the Queen's Cowboys (RCMP) up here in Canada.Other than family, my two biggest interests are watches and motorcycles. Here is my small collection of watches at present...Firstly the Omegas. From top to bottom: My personal grail, the 1968 Speedmaster Professional. Fresh from the spa in Bienne.2002 Limited Edition, 30th anniversary Apollo XVII Speedy Pro. Currently on a Di-modell strap to save the bracelet from scratches.Chronostop Driver. (That's Driver not Diver) Notice the position of the dial.Speedsonic. Cool tuning fork movement. A real 70's retro piece.Railmaster. The 39mm version. It wears a lot bigger than you think a 39mm would. All the rest. From left to right:Bulova Marine Star. My first "real" watch. I bought it for $250 in the late 80's when I was in University. I thought I needed something to impress the chicks. I still have the box and papers.
Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but a search didn't do me much good. I am looking for an MSRP list (much like the one available for Ball Watches) for Omega and Breitling. I have interest in a few models as a five year anniversary gift from my wife. She has a "guy" at Tourneau that helps her out, but I really want to arm her with a couple of ideas of models I might want. This would afford me the ability to exclude models that may be priced out of range and also keep her from knowing actual cost of said models for when one follows me home later.
Incoming week wear......
This is to all the 15400 Royal Oak owners. Recently I have been looking in to the Royal Oak 15400, blue dial. It is a classic pieces for sure and timeless design. I like to know and get some feed bad about 15400. How sturdy is the movement and what do service run on these bad boys. I hear people are saying it is scratch magnet. is it like daytona? and also would you buy it second hand or new? Sorry this would be my first AP so i like to gather lots of info and still shopping around.
I have the opportunity to get this (see link below) 3800 for ~12,000. Or, I can get a brand new 5711 for ~25,000. Decisions, decisions... .ebay/itm/Patek-Philip...ht_2623wt_1026
