Blancpain 6885-1542-55B wrist watches news:
Is anyone familiar with the vintage omega watch with case number 14915 sc-62?I have been researching on the net and this is the only site I found with a picture of it: Vintage Ure — Uhrmageriet - Danmark's Omega SpecialistScroll down to katalog: 1310 to see the watch. The case number is not listed on the official omega vintage database on their website. Is this database complete? Would appreciate any help. Thanks!
That is part of Howard's report over on timezone. I asked directly and he confirmed. Is this the new consensus?
I was initially planning to get the AP Diver to replace my Rolex Sub-C. I Went and put it on (and of course fell in love), but having it on I realized that it just didn't work in all situations like my Sub. I put on the 15400 and was equally mezmorized. So that got me thinking. Would the 15400 be more of a direct replacement for the Sub? I don't want to turn this into Rolex vs. AP, but can the 15400 do everything the Sub does (besides diving)? It is technically a 'Sports watch'. Would you swim with it? I think it goes from dress to casual just as well as the Sub. What say you?I just can't justify having both. Rolex ownership just isn't doing it for me anymore. I want an AP! I just need it to do everything my Sub does. Anyone else been in the same boat?

Hello all,Can anyone tell me the case height for these two pieces? I would love a 422, but feel that the 47mm case would look too big on me - unless the case is not too tall! Maybe this is just wishful thinking on my part, buy oh well. The 510 is also a strong contender, with similar looks at 44mm. The 8 day pr is also very sweet. Info on this case height would be much appreciated as well. Many thanks!
