PIAGET EMPERADOR COUSSIN XL LARGE MOON ENAMEL WATCHNew watches are being released all the time. Major brands are constantly tweaking their existing ranges to provide a new take on an old classic, a slightly different colorway to breathe life into a tired palette, a new complication slammed into an existing casebut it is rarer to see one of the big boys release a whole range of new timepieces at once. Today, on Wednesday September 30th, 2015, Piaget d¨¦buts the new "Secrets & Lights" collection, with the tag-line "A Mythical Journey by Piaget."PIAGET ALTIPLANO SCRIMSHAW ENGRAVING WATCHThere's a lot going on here. The Piaget Secrets & Lights range features several new models in a variety of color schemes, bound by their shared inspiration: the historical Silk Route between Venice and Samarkand. The two cities each exert influence over the watches, with some mirroring the desert-inspired "Lights of Samarkand," while others explore the "Secrets of Venice." For me personally, this b
Whilst out shopping yesterday, I tried on a B2, which I really liked. When asked, the AD offered a 10% discount. On checking up when I got back home, I found that this is a discontinued model. Is 10% reasonable or should be more?I particularly liked the B2 "brushed" or "matte" finish. Are there any other Breitlings with a similar finish rather than the highly polished finish? Thanks,C
Well, I have been pretty lazy about taking a few pics of a couple of new additions to the collection.Back in June, I reserved a STOWA Marine Original Limited Edition II (MOLE II) and was even able to pick my own # - 63 for my birthyear. Only 120 pieces were available: 80 for US customers and 40 for the rest of the world.Well, here's what was hand assembled for me:Black leather strap, white stitching and deployment clasp:The "12" is metal:63 / 120:
HelloI would like to hear your views on this.About 10 years ago, Omega made 69 platinum Speedmasters. I have found an unsold one! The way I am looking at it is that Omega have not been able to sell them all in 10 years but have continued to increase the watches price for 10 years. How much do you think a watch's price will have increased in that time? Does 5% per year sound about right or do you think it would be more than that? I'm wondering if it might be worth a silly offer at closer to the price ten years ago. Thanks
Hi guys,Hoping one of you Omega experts can ID this for me and tell me if it is a real watch. It is my dad's, and yes he is still with us and no, I didn't inherit it etc. Knowing that I'm into Rolex and MB etc, he asked me whether it was worth getting serviced. But looking at it, although I don't know much about Omega watches, I'm not even convinced it is genuine...Thoughts appreciated...
