Breguet 5447PT/1E/9V6 wrist watches news:
I've been a pretty big fan of the Autodromo Prototipo watches since they were first released in 2013. Simply put, they are one of the best releases of the last couple of years, with pitch perfect styling and razor sharp execution. Their vintage aesthetic just nails the look and feel of 60's and 70's racing chronographs, but with enough twists and turns to make them distinctly Autodromo. I recommend reading our lengthy review here, if you are unfamiliar with the watches. One such twist was that when they were initially released, there was a limited edition version dedicated to Vic Elford, a renowned driver of the Prototype-era. The watch, which featured a 3-eye chronograph, some very stylized coloration based on Mr. Elford's Porsche 907 paint job, sold out almost immediately upon release.Following the success of the Elford, Autodromo has teamed up with another iconic driver of the prototype era for a new limited edition watch. The Brian Redman Edition commemorates both the driver, Mr. R
For this year’s SIHH, Montblanc has revisited the iconic 4810 Collection for the brand’s 110th anniversary (from the founding of Montblanc as a pen company, not the merger between Montblanc and Minerva). Named for the elevation of Mont Blanc (which is 4,810 meters high), the new additions feature three new movements: the caliber MB 29.21 ExoTourbillon Stop-Second, caliber MB LL100.1 TwinFly Chronograph, and the caliber MB 29.20 World Timer. 1 OF 2 The first new release is the 4810 ExoTourbillon Slim 110 Years Edition. The 42 mm white-gold case houses the caliber MB 29.24 automatic movement, which is powered by a micro-rotor for the first time. The ExoTourbillon still functions with a quick stop-seconds, which is indicated on the tourbillon cage by a red arrow. (For more information on the stop-seconds tourbillon see Jack’s fascinating article here.) ADVERTISEMENT 2 OF 2 The dial of each piece from the Limi

Hey guys!I am very proud to announce that my book "Elgin Trench Watches of The Great War" is going to be available around year's end. This has been a 4+ year project that has honestly been one of the great joys of my life.I get to talk about watches, write about watches and work on watches all day long, I consider myself to be very fortunate in that respect, I absolutely love what I do for a living!Very early on in my watch career the Elgin National Watch Company struck a cord with me.But, very little solid information was out there when it came to their very early wrist watches.............the trench watches.Being me, I simply had to know everything there was to know about Elgin Trench Watches!Very long and detailed forum posts about Elgin Trench Watches that I wrote started to add up after awhile, and when you put that information together it started to look like a book.So that's exactly what I did after a few more years of hardcore research, I wrote a book about Elgin Trench Watches
I just got my fist mechanical watch - Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic. I users manual doesn't offer much guidance. 1. When self winding, how many turns on the crown? 2. Can it be overwound?3. I bought it online, how can I verify authenticity? Thanks for any help and if you think there's things I should know about my watch, don't hestitate.
