I have yet to find one just like this one , i know its after 1968 but other than that I 20150415_041145.jpg20150415_041145.jpg] dont know nothing else about it prices and stuff please help!!
Some pics of a recent arrival: pre-owned Ollech and Wajs Mirage III, in mint condition. As soon as it arrived I took it off it's black strap and put it on this distressed brown strap for a more pilot/military look. ("Distressed" means ratty and beat up )It's got a great military chrono style. There's sort of a Sinn vibe going on for half the price!
I'm going to be in Manhattan in a couple weeks. I have a couple free days, but they are pretty much planned out. I will have some free time in the East Village area above Houston and below 13th st. I will also be walking around East Midtown from 50th to 63rd or so around Madison and Park Ave.I plan on stopping in on the new GP mothership and also at Aaron Faber's which is an amazing place for vintage. I will probably also step into the Rolex Bld. which is right there, also. Can anyone suggest any other place in these two neighborhoods????Thank ye.
Hi,I was feeling some pain on my wrist and realized that my wrist was cut by the tank buckle of the diver watch. Upon closer examination I realized that the outer edges are very sharp.Anyone experience my encounter and any recommended solution.Cheers
So now that the prices for Daytona 16520's have basically doubled in the past year I'm just giving up on finding a reasonable one. I like the modern 116520 but really wanted a zenith. Most have convinced me that the 16519 (white gold) is not that desirable and the latest Daytona is equally expensive and I won't buy into that. So I used to have a big block which I really liked and although it was cool, future investment is always a nice addition. That leads me to the Tudor Monte Carlo. There are some great three register fancy dial Monte Carlos out there that can be had I the $8-$12k range. Any speculation on the future of the Monte Carlo? I don't want to sound too investment only but if I'm spending $10k on a watch I would prefer to wear one which apreciates in the future. It's a pretty funky dial as well and truly to me has all the function the Daytona should have had but just a little ol 7750 working under the hood. Thanks for any thoughts. I'm still trying to find a sub $16k Dayton
