Two New Panerai Equation Of Time Special Edition Watches For SIHH 2015
Every year, Paneristis wait with bated breath when SIHH comes around to see what new special edition watches Panerai will release. Last year¡¯s standout special edition pieces were arguably the series of Radiomir 1940 chronographs (hands-on here) rendered in various precious metals, featuring a handwound movement based on the venerable Minerva caliber 13-22; also, the Radiomir 1940 3 Days Marina Militare Acciaio, which is a homage to the vintage Reference 6152 from the 1940s.This year,?the standout pieces thus far are the Panerai Radiomir 1940 Equation of Time 8 Days Acciaio and the Panerai Luminor 1950 Equation of Time 8 Days Acciaio. 5711 Nautilus Questions
I just purchased a new 5711R Nautilus from an AD and have two questions:1. When setting the time, after pulling out the stem fully, I notice that this does not stop the "seconds" hand. Is this normal?2. When finished setting the time and after fully pushing in the stem, I notice that when screwing the crown in, it sounds as if the watch is being wound. Is this normal?If someone who has a nautilus would respond I would appreciate it.

Real 6306 & Scubapro450 Dial vs. The Aftermarket!
Hello guys,I saw a few things while looking around today on a couple popular auction sites that perplexed me. These items were a replacement/aftermarket 6306 diver dial that I've never seen before, and a so-called 6306 Scubapro 450 diver. I've had some original examples of 6306 divers over the years, and so I wanted to mention a few things here to clear the air about what a real dial looks like on both of these watches; and what the aftermarket/replacement or fake dials look like in comparison. But some may not have caught those topics in the past, so I'll mention a few pointers here: 1. Is the presence of a beveled day/date window which this has.2. Is the uniformity & silver sheen color of the upper-dial Seiko/Automatic wording font as well as the matching silver color mid-dial 150m font and Suwa symbol.
