White marks, need your help asap
Hi guys,Its a new watch, i started to seeing like white marks on the case and around the sapphire glass. Please look at the pictures and let me know what is it ? I tried to wash it with water and use the Verat but it didnt help. Anyone can explain what is it and how can be removed ? thanks!!!

HiJust found this watch on ebay. i think would look great with a leather strap and in a very wearable 40mm. Dont love the two tone, but can live with it. Wonder if you more seasoned AP guys have an opinion. I have a rolex, breitling, panerai but this is my first AP.the owner bought it new in 93. says was serviced in 2011. He had the hands replaced to the RO hands, and the original ones are included. he is in geneva and seems like a legit private owner, but what do you think?is it a good watch? reasonable for around $4k US?.ebay/itm/302271200702Please help a newbie out!

Omega Planet Ocean Liquidmetal vs Rolex Submariner, what holds better value?
My first post on this great forum. So much good quality info and help from experienced owners it is just incredible!I have been wanting to buy a Sub for some time now, but when I saw the PO Liquidmetal must say that my heart crossed to Omega. The only question I have for more experienced watch people is related to the potential resale price of PO LM in the future.Rolexes are well known for holding the best value over time. Omegas not so much, from what I could see the standard PO's loose upto 50% of value in 2 years time. As I dont like wasting my money too much I discarded Omega easily.But what I dont know is how will the Limited Edition factor of PO Liquidmetal influence the resale price? In theory limited eds should loose less value in time, but on the other hand it is not as limited as the word may imply with 2000 pieces to be produced. Imperfections in 5711
Hello to everyone. I'm new in the forum and perhaps this topic has been already discussed here....The thing is that the other day I was looking my new 5711 white in the microscope and I could not fail to notice an small imperfection in the dial. Also the hand looks like it is corroded. The imperfection is the rib just below the Geneva nameThe funny thing is that I was looking at an article here and I see the same imperfection. Turned 40...Wife always delivers...incoming tomorrow.
