- my disappointment is that it's a 'diver's' watch yet the package of info that came with the watch doesn't indicate that it can be used for diving....a little discouraging since i bought this watch to use also while diving....

Ulysse Nardin 266-66B-991 wrist watches news:
Well, we've finally gotten our hands on the much anticipated Christopher Ward C900 Single Pusher Chronograph. This watch was first announced in August, and I found the news so exciting (come on, it's not everyday that a brand bucks the trends of the watch market and brings out an in-house chronograph for just above 3k) that I wrote up a fairly detailed article on it back then. So, to not write the same thing twice and get on with the review, I'll defer you to that article for the meat of this intro. Needless to say, with the C900 the C. Ward brand has once again proven that in the internet age, a watch company can provide quality, innovation and mechanics normally believed to be the province of luxury brands at an affordable price.Case: Stainless SteelMovement: C. Towards the end of the year I created a section in my "Watch Wishlist" document (yes, I have an actual list!) called "Going For", which was a list of the handful of watches on my full list that I was actively targeting. I haven't paid it much attention since then, but have a look at how it looks now!!Going ForBlue Sumo doneYellow Jellyfish doneSinn 857 doneOmega Great White incomingLum-Tec V1 incomingI have always heard that writing down you goal almost magically helps you achieve them - and it seems to have worked! I need to do some consolidating now, though!!!
Hi all,Guess not many of you have seen the lastest hardcore production by Azimuth- The twin barrel tourbillon. However i am a fortune one who get to see the prototype before Chris and Alvin fly to BaselWorld. It was a great experience to have the feel and touch of the watch ! so while both of them were busying on the phone, i secretly took a few pictures of the watch to share with all of you.According to Chris, this is just the prototype and the actual watch has been finalized with a black center bridge tourbillon instead of the silver one you see on the watch.Actual tourbillon:Sides with Carbon Fibre inserted:Back of the tourbillon without any markingsWellHow about some shots of the watch on my wrist? my conclusion of the watch is : Stunning !Lastly, wish Chris & Alvin all the best in BASELWORLD 2009 and more great works coming up.riciris
I'm doing a little debating between the 15300 and 15400, like I'm sure many have before me. I do not live in an area that has an AP dealer nearby so I'm flying a bit blind. There are several threads that already cover people's preference so I'm not looking to reboot that, but does anyone have advice for me with my inability to actually try one on?I guess I could always wait until I travel to a city with an AD but I even then I'm not guaranteed to run across either one of those models. Has anyone ever purchased one blindly and then flipped to the other because of size preference?
My ad called to tell me my grail has arrived. Picking up my 5712/1a tomorrow. Not sure I will be able to sleep tonight. You can bet I will be posting pics ASAP.
