Breitling a49350LA/f549-1ct wrist watches news:
I hope this doesn't get as boring for everyone as multiple sequel movies. Here's a 1924 WG Art Deco Bulova that my girlfriend loves to raid the box for on special occasions:Thanks for looking. I have a couple other very nice condition ladies watches I'll share as time goes by, but next it's back to the men's in a few days.
A friend of mine more or less gave me a Raymond Weil Parisfal W1 quartz, same as below but with a blue dial:It was not working so I figured it was just the battery. Opened the case, saw some corrosion from the old battery, and tried replacing it anyways. It still didn't work. I noticed that the movement looked very basic and simple.I took it to a jeweler who quoted me $95 with labor to replace the movement. I have not been able to identify what the movement is so I don't know if this is a good price or not. It looked simple enough that I could do it myself. But to me it's not worth it to do myself if my price to buy the movement is close to the jeweler's all-in price. What is Watch Talk's take?
Good Day All,I as kind of missing this guy;I called the AD in Canada and they are now list 21K CADTake care,Eric
I came across an interesting article on ablogtowatch. We are always talking about how soft the market is for most Pateks since there is too much supply. Most of the article is what we already know but nonetheless, interesting. What are your thoughts? .ablogtowatch/study-co...ess-inventory/
As a follow up to my other thread regarding my (only) 8 month wait, i picked up my Daytona this morning. I could've had my choice of color when i ordered, but i wanted black - classic look and is a perfect partner to my Mitsukoshi Speedmaster.Such a beautiful piece. Hard to imagine anything else is my collection is going to be getting any wrist time in the near future...As for policies, procedures, etc. My dealer basically handed me the watch in the plastic shipping container - untouched by anyone, even them. I could have walked right out and they wouldn't have cared. However, I opened it up, took the stickers off and had them remove a link. They filled out the warranty card and activated it. No mention of any directive from Rolex to de-sticker, photocopy my ID and warranty card, etc. so ymmv on that. Here is it:
