Given the status that Patek Philippe holds in the watch community, I can safely hold them to a very high standard - even in their marketing. Starting in August of 2010, Patek Philippe will roll out a new advertising campaign for its womens watches. I ask about this watch in another section of the forum and it probably was in the wrong section, so I'll ask you guys in the Japanese & Asian section what you know of this watch.What can you guys tell me about this watch (Seiko SKA051)? Is it a large watch, do not have real small wrist maybe mid size just I just do not like huge watches have seen it listed at 43mm and at 39mm). I Have seen a couple sites with it listed at about $179.00 US dollars. Also if you have one is the band comfortable I have a citizen that is a real hair puller do not even wear it anymore just hoping the band is not a cheap band.Any reviews or information would be appreciated.Thanks Guys.

Hey guys,I went and looked at a AP survivor this weekend. It's got all box/papers and has had one owner (allegedly). The watch however shows a lot of signs of wear. If you look closely the crown protector chipped colors and there are a lot of scratches on it. For those who are formulaic with the watch I have the following Q'a1) can the watch be polished or do the coating does wear off over time? (No idea how blackened titanium polishes)2) would you buy a watch in this condition? (Lots of scratches to the. Are. The crown protector basically chipped colors. The bezel screws are chipping colors)
