Hello I wanted to introduce myself and ask a question. I am new here my name is Joe and I have been collecting watches for a while. I first started with Fossil's, then moved to Tag and now will like to make the next step to Omega.I am considering buying a used Planet Oceans 2209.50 the watch however is almost 3 yrs old. Should I be worried buying a 3 yr old Omega? What would this watch be worth?This watch is a present to myself for a work promotion so it will be a keeper for a long time to come and I want to make sure I make the right choice. Hi Everybody!Newbie here!I like the design of the X-wind, so I¡¯d like to find out a few things about Hamilton watches generally and about the Automatic X-wind in particular.Is the ETA/Valjoux 7750 movement used for this watch being modified by Hamilton or is it stock?Do they guarantee a specified precision for this watch (and in this case, what are the tolerances), given that this is not a chronometer?Also, what is the autonomy of this movement and is the X-Wind shock resistant?Where could I find more info on this watch ?Thanks in advance

About to take the plunge on a Diver
Hi guys,Long time forum reader but wanted to jump in with my first post. I am narrowing in on a long considered purchase of a ROO Diver 15710 with black dial. For me the open case back is the biggest factor vs the 15703 to see the amazing workmanship of the movement, especially as this will be my first 'holy trinity' piece. When I first began scoping out AP I was set on the 15400, but even after trying all three dial colours it never grabbed me the same way as when I first tried on the diver - I almost bought it there and then on the spot !One thing though that I am intrigued about is the price difference (when at full retail at any rate) between the diver and the 15400. In my book the diver, absent the virtually handmade bracelet, which clearly adds to the overall cost of manufacture should be positioned at a lower cost than the diver with a rubber strap. This is further compounded when the difference in dial manufacture method is taken into account, considering the presumed cost to m
