Breitling a1336410/e519-1rt wrist watches news:
You might be thinking that this is just some gimmicky concept, or another of those skepticism filled no-name Chinese watch phones, but you'd be wrong (it is Korean, not Chinese). And it is from large manufacturer LG nonetheless, which signifies a new era for Dick Tracy wannabes. With an official announcement due at CES (the consumer electronics show) soon, the LG GD910 is a fully functional 3g (and 7.2mps HSPDA) watch phone with most of the bells and whistles in its non-wrist worn counterparts. LG calls is a "wrist phone." It even supports voice-to-text commands as well two way video conferencing. Talking on the phone is done in one of three ways. You either hold the watch phone up to your ear likewell, an idiot, use the speaker phone function, or more logically Bluetooth. All in all, the people using this wrist phone at CES have been loving it.In what is likely to be a device with abyssal battery (well maybe not that bad), the LG GD910 features a touch screen and microphone, as well a
This Bring A Loupe will be dedicated entirelely to everyone's favorite complication, the chronograph. You will find an extremely rare (and very exotic looking) Zenith El Primero, the reference G383, produced in only 200 examples in 1970. We also scoured eBay in order to find some relatively affordable chronographs, most of them under $1,000. As you might expect, no Heuer or Universal Geneve made it this week given our budget constraint, but you will discover some other really exciting watches from Wittnauer, Minerva, and Mathey-Tissot. This is your Bring A Loupe for February 19, 2016. A Minerva Chronograph Reference VD712 With A Better Dial Than It Seems 1 OF 8 This Minerva is a good example of a nice looking three-register chronograph that does not break the bank. The Minerva VD712 is powered by the famous Valjoux 72 (also found in vintage Rolex Daytonas) and apparently this chrono was even used by the Swedish army – you can find some great shots of the
Hello everyone,I would like to present you with a watch (Panerai 004) that was in an extremely bad shape due to the everyday wear its owner had put it through over the years. Personally I dont know a true Panerai fan who hasn't been secretly dreaming to put their hands on 201, 004, 009, 205, 218, and 004 in a fairly good shape. Well this could be extremely dificult the least to say and this particular 004 is kind of supporting my words. Therefore, i engaged into getting this baby a well deserved spa treatment. The watch was first completely disassembled; the old coating stripped off; all dents and inconsistencies were removed (it does sound easy but it is a procedure that takes over 2 days); all parts were then DLC coated with the Panerai signature pencil lead color. The caseback was also refinished by reapplying the original satin finish on it. The movement undertook a complete overhauling¡ it was completely disassembled, cleaned, oiled, assembled, and then regulated.Enough of talking¡
I'm not certain I have an answer for this.I like the micro-machinery, but I don't work on them - like I used to do with my cars & bikes. And I'm not convinced I see any given watch as an extension of my personality. So frankly, I'm baffled by my love for watches.
Hi guys, as you can see from my avatar I have a 15300 blue unworn, I wanted to know if you would make it serviced prior to wearing it? It's new but not sure if I should service it or not, of course AP says to do it, it's from 2009, some say as long as it keeps good time not to do it, not really sure if I should or not, what would you do?Thanks for your replies
