Breitling a1336410/b719-1ld wrist watches news:
Well, you asked for it. You got it. Today we are proud to launch an entirely new HODINKEE original video series. We're loosely calling it "Talking Watches," and these videos are just that: us, talking watches with our friends, new and old. Basically, we will use these monthly – yes, you'll get a new episode each month from here until eternity – videos to give you insight into the minds of watch collectors you might not come across in your daily life. Guys like John Mayer. In this first video, I sit down with John to talk about how he got into watches, what his first great pieces were, and what's he's been wearing on his latest tour. Since John and I first connected a few years back, I've gotten to know him well via multi-day conversations about double-references, short-lived bezel colors, and what the ideal lume plot should look like. John is as serious a watch lover as anyone I've ever met. In fact, he's downright obsessive. And while
I am getting closer to my first Omega purchase and I think that I have narrowed it down to either the 2055.80 or the 2054.50. I like the 2055.80, but I am afraid that it will be too, I dunno, conspicuous? I like the classic look of the 2054.50, but I worry about the black bezel getting chipped or scratched. Any advice?PS: I am enjoying this forum immensely!
I was wondering if it was possible to purchase a Seiko Night Monster in the US from an authorized or at least trusted seller. I am specifically looking for the Purple one but would purchase one of the other ones as well with my order preference being white, black, and then orange. Thanks
I have just heard from my AD that AP is discontinuing / stopping production of AP Ceramic pieces such as the AP Ceramic Diver and AP ROO 44mm. Any one else received news about this? As some of you might know, AP outsource the actual production / fabrication of the ceramic pieces to 3rd party as ceramic is very hard to machine. The added time and cost esp to make them to AP's specification and finishing makes it not worthwhile as it will mean selling ceramic pieces at a price level near equivalent to RG pieces to break even. That's what I heard anyway.
Does anyone know if there is a difference between grey dials between the:5146P (Sunburst Ebony)&5146G (Slate Gray)I have seen the 5146G with the grey dial and although it was a little difficult to read under certain light conditions it seemed very interesting. Hard to tell from pictures alone but the 5146P seems darker, easier to read but may have less variation with respect to angle and light. Thanks!
