Maurice Lacroix 1378 NoS 16180 wrist watches news:
I am hoping someone can give any info on the watch my friend has!. I have been on a few other forums about this watch, and i am wondering if anyone has heard or has reference of a Seamaster XVI with a 18K solid GOLD Dial!. Now before you fall of you're chairs in laughter We had the watch taken apart at an Authorised Omega dealer and they verified,it was indeed a solid gold dial!. The dial has the #s 25546 Z.J. OR on the back and it looks to be unaltered, and from what some people are saying is,the Z.R. letters were from a vendor that produced these dials at this time. The rest of the watch is all correct 471 calibre 19 Jewels,18K case and back, and original crown and hands!. The crystal was changed as it was cracked!.I have sent the info to Omega H.O. but they want us to ship it there to get appraised!. I am hesitant about shipping it even across town, let alone the Atlantic as i've heard too many hooror stories!. It took me hrs to figure out how to upload pics as ia am not computer savy
I've had 3 88's in my life, here are a few pics....OEM Honey strap.OEM Honey Strap.Europelli "baseball glove"Dial CloseupOEM RubberThe next three shots represent the culmination of my strap addiction.I owned and wore out a pair of Doc Martens boots for 15-16 years. I decided I needed to have them with me forever and what a better way to do that then to have straps made for my Panerai. I sent the Boots to "The Master" Greg Stevens in CA and he made 3 straps for me out of my boots. Black stitch, Brown stitch, and white stitch...Fantastic!!!!Thanks for looking!!!
im in need of a 394 battery. is there one brand better than the other? i replaced it a year ago and its now dead. whats the life of a battery anyway?
Originally it is equipped with a black rubber strap, but in summer I like to use the white version.More colors to come ...Regards,Hans
Tomorrow my g/f will drop by a Rolex service Centre to buy an extra link for her Explorer 214270 mk1. But since the watch warranty is already expire, will Rolex sell the link w/o movement service on the watch ? And if the watch is being serviced by Rolex, how many years of service warranty do they provided ?
