TAG Heuer CAS2111.FC6292 wrist watches news:
I just got this back today. It was originally done with the name set too low and the sub-second cross with four equal length lines. After some back and forth, it was redone to what you see here. I think this is pretty much as it should be with the name set high near the 12:00 and a tall, narrow sub-second cross.I think it's safe to say that Townsend dials can now be correctly refinished.Original dial for reference.
Hey Guys,I normally don't post links like this, but it doesn't directly conflict with any of our sponsors, and is IMHO a ridiculously good deal. Check out this link on Buy:Buy - 16-Piece Professional Watch Repair Tool Kit (Bulk Packaged)The regular price of this watch repair tool kit is $33.00 which isn't bad. But this buy "deal of the day" is just $6.99 with free shipping! In my mind, you're essentially getting this stuff for maybe a buck or so more than the cost of shipping. That's too cheap to pass up even if you'd use these once or twice a year. There you go....my good deed for the day. WTF or myself receives no commission or "kickbacks" here. Just trying to be helpful
Hello all,I have an oppertunity to pick up this speedy on trade. It has all boxes and papers. What do i look for and what is it worth.
Hello Friends,Tonight after wearing my Omega 3570.50 for three days (received the watch on Tuesday) and noticing how it was only gaining 2 seconds per day, suddenly I looked at my watch this evening and it was 1 hour behind. Don't know when this happened or why, but the real time was 9:45pm, but the watch was showing 8:45pm. I know I'm supposed to wind the watch everyday, and I've been doing that except it's been in the evening and not the morning, simply because I forget in the morning. Anyone have any idea what happened? Thanks in advance.
Somebody posted a picture of a Sub he just got with all the manuals and reminded me of something I¡¯d been wondering: at what point did Rolex get rid of the pictures on the manuals (the diver on the sub, the ¡°explorer¡± on the explorer, etc)? I have no idea why, but I love those pictures....just curious. I was about to ask on the other guys thread but didn¡¯t want to hijack his new Sub awesomeness.
