Hi all,I've been lurking on the forums for a few months now and decided to pop in and say hi. Now for a little life story:I've only recently taken in interest in watches having previously owned quartz. I entered into the world of mechanical timepieces with a graduation gift from my wonderful parents, an Omega Speedmaster Date (with white dial) - I absolutely love this watch, everything about it is perfect to me.I then joined all of you as a fellow Hamilton owner a few months ago when I picked up a brand new Hamilton Khaki Field Chrono 42mm on the bay for an absolute steal of ~US$500. The fit and finish of this watch was much more than I expected. Not on the same level of the Omega, which also uses the same Valjoux 7750 base movement, but nevertheless very impressive. It was originally on the canvas strap which did not do the watch justice at all, making it sit really high on my tiny tiny wrists, so I purchased a couple of aftermark cheapie straps, which have not been all that thrilling
HAMILTON 10KT 770 MENS WRISTWATCH~22 JEWEL~ Great price, I was watching the action but the user only allow US bidder. Is the buyer from this forum?Cheers.
Hi AllLong time lurker on the forum, I am the proud 116400 GV and am at the point where I am itching for another addition to my collection (if one watch can garner the title of a collection. One of the things I really like about the Milgauss is it weight without being monstrous on the wrist. I believe this is primarily a result of the faraday cage? I was wondering if there are any rolex's that are heavier than others in the stainless steel range (I feel I am a bit young for anything PM). I feel like the SS skydweller may fit this niche, however I refuse to pay ¡ê6000 over rrp on the grey market. I am in no massive rush so can wait it out and see (unlikely) if I can pick one up at an AD. However interested as to any other potential options (as trying stainless steel sport watches on in the UK at the minute is in itself a challenge!)Thanks in advance
