- This is a classic, timeless piece. The design stands out in a sea of round, chunky, trendy watches. If you want to class it up for a reasonable price, this is the watch for you.

Breitling A 30022 wrist watches news:
I am not too familiar with independent Japanese watch makers. There are lots of smaller brands making timepieces in Japan aside from the big three (Seiko, Casio, and Citizen), but most of those are less expensive or novelty pieces. Here is a high-end independent Japanese watch maker you should be familiar with named Hajime Asaoka - with a brand of the same name. His watch is the simply named Hajime Asaoka Tourbillon and it is a very attractive timepiece. The design is actually more architectural and art deco than it is traditionally Japanese. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but aside from the name and "Tokyo Japan" label on the dial, there isn't much to let you know this is a fine Japanese instrument. For me the design quickly becomes appealing as you begin to identify its values. This is about an expression of technique and industrial design. A good start is to look at the tourbillon bridge. It is formed out of a single piece of steel that has a bar through the middle and an
Hey all, Id have to say I am fairly new to the world of luxury watches as I happened to get my first real nice watch about one year ago, a brand new SS rolex submariner. I have enjoyed that watch and I wore it daily for the last year or so.This year I purchased about the only other watch out there that could get me to spend over 2000$ on a timepiece (so far)...A model 3789.01 IWC pilot single chrono (44MM) TOPGUN ed. I happen to think this watch is absolutely awesome looking and love that it has a relatively subdued look...not too big...not too small...flat black etc. (Yes i am obsessed with the movie as well). My question is...Will i have any problems with wearing this watch daily or every other day? I've read mixed things about wearing the black ceramic daily...scratching problems with the glare resistant coating, scratches on the ceramic...etc. Someone even told me to get the glare resistant coating buffed off if i want to wear it daily (not sure if this is BS).Any tips? and or conc
There appears to be a very strong fanbase for the 15407ST, though given the highly limited and controlled supply we do not see many pieces amongst members. Given that, I am interested to see just how highly collectors revere this relatively unique piece.
Ok guys so finally pulled the triger on this beauty!!! Been after this for a couple of years now but something or the other always happened and was unable to get it.... but Finally it's here... here are a few pics.. enjoy!
Just an FYI from a conversation I had so take it for what it¡¯s worth. Was at an AD with my BLNR and SubC this morning and chatted with the watchmaker for an hour. Well into our conversation about watches, safes, insurance, etc he mentioned he was made aware by Rolex that the Explorer II¡¯s will be getting a ¡°significant¡± price increase soon. Possibly as early as Feb. Mind you that I was in an AD so it may have just been bait on a hook, but he was WELL aware from our conversation that I won¡¯t be purchasing another sport piece anytime soon and my next piece will be a Cellini. I think if he had just been throwing around bs to get me to walk out of there with another Rolex, he would have substituted Explorer II with Cellini because I tried on 4 different variations of it. Again, take it for what it¡¯s worth.
