faulty chronograph
My co-worker has a 2008 Avenger skyland. Last week he used his chrono, and when finished he tried to reset it and the second hand did not go all the way to zero. after trying x amount of times, it will no longer reset. He then told me that the night before, he took his watch off before going to sleep and the following morning the watch had stopped. His watch gets worn all the time, except when he sleeps. Our line of work is civil construction installing underground utilities. The watch is exposed to all the element of the job. The dirt and sand is one thing but we use a lot of vibrating compactors and pneumatic jack hammers.He ran a jackhammer 8 hrs. a day breaking up ashphalt for 3 weeks a year ago. I wonder if these actions contributed to this problem. Now i'm kinda worried that my watch could start acting up. He had a rolex before this watch, and he said it went thru some rough abuse and had no problems. I bought a tag heuer 10 yrs. ago and that thing was indestructible. The bracel

Hey folks!I have a 1911 Hamilton Size 16 Railroad Pocket Watch. 972L Grade. # 1,322,820. It has a beautiful Montgomery face and is overall in excellent condition, except that it needs a mainspring, a couple of case screws and a minute hand. I found a mainspring, but am still missing the remaining parts. Anyone have any idea where I could find them?Thanks in advance!
