Breitling A13322 wrist watches news:
Hey guys & gals,I had a couple questions I'm hoping someone can help with.. 1)When did the 18K Submariner get solid center links in the bracelet? Is there a reference # 'cut-off' for the old vs. new bracelet?2)When did the 18K YAcht-Master get solid center links, or was it the same time as the 18k Sub? 3)When did the President bracelet get solid center links (or has it always had solid links on the president bracelet)? Again, is there a model # that would be the cutoff or was it a month & year? Thanks everyone!
Sorry, it's not a watch but these cool Orbita Sparta Winders with guaranteed5 year lithium batteries. I already own 3 Orbita Spartas that are powered viaAC/DC adapter and I could not be happier. I love their patent that simulatesnatural wearing of the watch. As such these winders do not rotate, but swinggently - just like you would wear the watch. AND - they are virtually silent evenwhen one of them was sitting about just 1 foot from my head - on my night stand !This setup works great if you do not have enough space for some large4 or 6 piece winder box, or...as you can see, this is a perfect setup for my built in safe.I had a great experience with the 3 single Sparta winders that were poweredfrom an electric plug. I do not expect anything else from these three 'wireless' - 5 yr. lithiumbatteries powered pieces. I will post a report and evaluation after a few weeks of use.Thank you guys at Orbita for supporting our forum and thank you for offering us such great bargains for these test
The watch winder.jpgThe German craftsmen, have taken the engine block from none other than the Bugatti Veyron and turned it into a watch winder. The 16-cylinder block incorporates individual winders for (you guessed it) sixteen automatic timepieces, each individually adjustable and programmable according to the requirements of each watch, with each combustion-chamber-turned-watch-winder is lined in soft goatskin leather. Its A 100grand, get your orders in now for Christmas!!
Finally my AP grail has arrived guys . I've had my AP safari for nearly a year now, although I loved it very much, i wanted to try something more playful. Thanks to the neanderthal watch guru (aka Kilyung ) whose pics have enabled me too much . I've finally pulled to trigger to flip my safari. Here's the pics, hope you'll like them.
I was never big on Rolex due to the connotations associated with it and the fact that everyone and their mom knows Rolex - I don't like drawing attention to myself. I finally decided to give in and buy my first Rolex once my wife gave me the go ahead.I walked in to an AD 3 months ago and picked up a 114060 SubC. Great watch as it is built like a tank and the bracelet on it nothing short of amazing. Buying the 114060 was a bad idea . . . as it was an eye opener. A month later I walked in to a local jeweler that only carries pre-owned watches including quite a few Rolexes. I tried on a Polar 16570. I always thought the watch looked bland in pictures but in person I fell in love immediately. I went back home and did some research and ended up purchasing one with drilled lug holes and SELs. (side note - I had no idea what SELs meant only a few months earlier)I've since been kind of struggling with the SubC. While it is amazing in build quality and that bracelet is the best on the market, t
