Hamilton Pilot Pioneer Auto Aluminum Review
A couple of years ago, when Hamilton announced the Pilot Pioneer Automatic Chronograph, it got a lot of people, us included, really excited. It was the exact kind of watch from their archives we want to see them bring back. A cool watch with historical significance and a cult status among collectors. To follow up the success of that watch, Hamilton has riffed on the concept to create a series of 3-handers that still speak to the ¡®70s RAF pilot watches those chronographs were based, while becoming something new for their line-up as well as an having unexpected twist.The so called Pilot Pioneer Automatics are dual crown versions of the RAF asymmetrical pilots watches. By adding the dual crown/internal bezel functionality, they did a good job of creating something new that doesn't just feel like a the chronograph, sans-chrono. L¨¹m-Tec, without fail, delivers some of the most intense new watches every year. Unique, masculine and tough-as-nails, their watches have a character all to their own. We've taken a look at several different models over the last couple of years, including the M33, Combat and V series and are always left impressed. When we saw an early preview drawing of the 300M series, we were particularly excited by it. Not just because it is cool looking, and a bit different than other watches in their line, but also because it was available in two sizes, 40 and 45mm.With tons of large watches flooding the market at any given moment, a 40mm tool diver stands out. Identify This Watch
G'day guys,I just found this watch lying around the house. I think it was my father's, probably bought during the late 70's to 80's although I'm not sure. Just wondering if its a real Omega, and if so what the actual name of it is.The photos are really poor quality, and I apologize. I had to scan them as my camera is currently out of order.The writing on the face says "Seamaster" just in case it is unreadable. Apart from that I can see no other writing on the fact apart from the obvious Omega. The back has a seamonster engraving with the word Seamaster above, and Quartz below.Thanks a lot

A couple years ago, I wrote about how my meteorite DD had turned me into a 1 watch guy. I lived every day with that watch for almost 2 years and sold off a bunch of watches I never wore. Then, I began to get the itch to add a yellow gold DD. The color was growing on me, and I thought it would be a nice change of pace to swap metal colors back and forth.Then we took the family to Hawaii for Christmas in ¡®16, and I realized I no longer owned a dive watch. I had to remedy that before we went off for beach time. And down the rabbit hole, I fell.Well, I¡¯ve decided to forcibly limit myself to just the slots in my winder, so here is my completed 6 watch rotation, which I hope will remain stable for at least a year or two!Feel free to share thoughts about what could be improved, as long as it isn¡¯t to recommend a PP.
