This month on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer's Free Watch Giveaway you can get a really cool watch, and everyone who enters gets a special Phosphor watch discount. That's right. Even if you don't win the watch at the end of the month, you'll still get an e-mail with a special exclusive discount coupon for a Phosphor watch. This makes a high value watch, even more enticing. I recently reviewed the Phosphor Digital Hour Clock here with much praise. This watch is great for you or as a gift (given the holiday season). Oh, and don't worry, the watch to be won is brand new direct from Phosphor, and not the particular piece I personally reviewed. As you know, Phosphor is the leading e-ink screen watch maker with very useful and stylish timepieces available. The specific watch you'll be entering to win is the Digital Hour Clock on the leather strap with a retail value of $185. Visit the giveaways sponsor Phosphor watches right here to learn more about this and other e-ink watches. Good luck!To Enter
Greetings folks - I'm thinking about buying another 16610 Sub, and I'm wondering if anyone has seen a 16610 anywhere on the net with photo proof of having the Parachrom Bleu Hairspring? As far as I know, the PB hairspring has only been in the re-designed models (116619, 116613, etc.) but I think I remember hearing rumors that Rolex was putting it in some latest batches of 16610 Subs?
I was looking the vintage database from the Omega website, and came to this picture, which is the same specs model (not same material of case, nor the face design) of the Seamaster Cosmic I have...One thing that I was aware of, is that mine doesn't have the original crystal, so I ordered one from O.F. that is on it's route to mebut don't know yet how the crystal is...But something that I found weird, is that this picture, and some others found in the web have a cyclops for the dateanybody have one of these? never saw a cyclops in a Omega...This pic is from the Omega database, so I guess the cyclops is genuine...
I played around tonight with my Glycine Combat Sub. Wow! What lume! Cheers, Bill P.
