Bell & Ross has been making pilots¡¯ watches since the company was founded two decades ago. Initially, they were traditional-looking, round watches, but in 2005 it came out with BR 01, a square-case, round-dial watch meant to resemble the flight instruments in an airplane cockpit. The watch is very big: 46 mm across. Bell & Ross, headquartered in Paris (although its watches are made in Switzerland), followed up with a smaller version, the BR 03, which is 42 mm across, and then with an even smaller one, the BR S, 39 mm wide. "Planet Ocean" vs "Island Pond"
To be honest (and I've Posted this question elsewhere), I've gotten the same impression about the Planet Ocean from feedback: That it's delicate, far less robust than the standard Seamaster line (I currently own the 2531.80, which, of course, is pre-Coaxial)."Planet" and "Ocean" were beginning to feel far bigger shoes than this watch was capable of filling.In my mind, a scratched crystal or bezel, or case or clasp, for that matter, does not make a watch less rugged. As I said, I've accepted the idea that the exposed surface A/R coating will be short-lived, relatively speaking. I also saw on John's review the implication that there are sources for completely removing that that seem relatively mainstream.As I said, my frame of reference is the Submariner Date model 16610 Rolex. To trade or not trade????
Dear all,I have a 2012 5712/a in very good condition. Thinking of trading against a 5980/a (blue dial) 2009/12. I need to pay EUR 9000 in between or pherhaps part trade with my Hublot ice Bang. Would you do the trade at all? The recent appreciation in value have been steeper for the 5980 than the 5712 in my world. Is this a spread that will get wider you think? Always wanted a 5980 but still like the 5712.....????? What would you Guys do?Many thanks in advance...

GMT Master II oyster bracelet help
Hi to all, Been searching but can't get a definitive answer. My oyster bracelet for my K series 16710 with lug holes and SEL is a perfect fit on my wrist. Even had a permanent link removed to get it just right. Now I'm wondering whether it can be used on my 116710LN. The perfect fit plus the brushed links are pushing me towards it esp as it not being used for now cos I just got a jubilee bracelet to use on my 16710. And if it's possible then what tool is the best to use for the 116710 bracelet removal. Thanks in advance!
