Hello all,I just had an Oceanus delivered, and as expected, the battery is drained. I can't find anything in the instructions to tell me how long it could need exposure to light before it's ready for use.Any help will be appreciated.
hi allbelow u can compare difference between genuine ORIS TT1 DIVER and fake .i decide start this tread to help people to not be cheaten .sory for not good quality pictures .i was buying my original TT1 about two years ago and few days ago saw first fake oris tt1 with real working chronograps (before u can see only very cheap fakes - this time little chinese people made expensive one ) differences are huge (u can see them on pictures)first big difference : fake have no glass on bottom , so u can't see movementnext difference : fake have no bransolet next one : the genuine crown have good sign (fake have no precision and are "shiny" from cheap material)next one : fake are bigger and more heavy (of course original one are made from titanium and is not heavy)next one : fake have different glass (genuine are like "buobble")next one : fake have date on white surfacethe fake have horrible quality of many details and what is most important , fake u can recognize from long distance still gen
Yesterday my Canadian built, Chinese guts, very inexpensive chronograph watch took a nose dive. I went to set the time and pulled out the crown and lo and behold the crowd came right out of the watch. Obviously to repair this would be more dollars than I want to spend and finding a watch repairman to repair a Chinese What-ever Caliber is probably more difficult than finding Bin LadenI cannot take credit for that phrase as a Boston Celtic basketball player said that to a kid wanting an autograph (as in you will have an easier time finding Bin Laden than for me to give you an autograph). Hi guys,I'm new here, so let me firs introduce myself. My name is Jan form Croatia, I'm a big vintage and contemporary watch collector. Got some nice watches that will be posted in other topics. As a crown of my collection last week came PP 2569/1 in red gold. It was a rare opportunity to get it, mint case, clear movement and dial that made me thinking about it. Then I found many watches with similar dial, one on this forum, and started my research. Many claim it's redial, most without any knowledge about vintage Patek and dial production in 50's. What I found; those dials are made by enamel, so it quite a complicated work with baked dust. One jeweler told me that the only way to make those minute markers was drilling holes in finished dial, by hand explaining the inperfection, and filling them later. His opinion is that corrosion through 60 years made those turquoise color and black rings around. All dials I found look too similar, have too perfect fonts, and are on other parts of the
