Nixon Star Wars Collection Updated With Imperial Pilot, Stormtrooper Watches
Back on Star Wars Day (or May the 4th, for any traditionalists out there), we brought you the joyous news that?Nixon?would be making a new range of official Star Wars watches. To tease the release, Nixon showed us some pictures of the upcoming Darth Vader watch, which will be one of a preliminary range of four Nixon Star Wars watches.The first wave of Nixon Star Wars watches will honour the dark side of the Force with timepieces inspired by everyone's favourite heavy-breathing bad boy, the Imperial Pilot, the Stormtrooper, and the awesome Boba Fett.Today, we're able to bring you some cool?new images?of the Imperial Pilot and the Stormtrooper models. They are available from Nixon's online store between?July?8-12 (that's this week!), or can be purchased at the San Diego Comic Con that runs?over July?9-12. There will be a limited number of Nixon Star Wars watches for sale, and once they're gone, they're?gone! Until, that is, the watches go on general release at an as-yet-unannounced time.

That model hankered for its roots and introduced a vintage theme and a simpler two-register layout. The new Transocean Chronograph?1915 takes that development?a step further by introducing a new dial design, new case and, most importantly, a new manufacture caliber.?The Transocean 1915 starts with a 43 mm by?14.6 mm case in polished stainless steel. Instead of applied indexes like its predecessor, the Transocean 1915 has printed Arabic numerals. I had the pleasure of visiting an Omega Boutique at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles before Christmas and I must say it was very nice. They had every watch I wanted to see immediately available as can be expected. The sales person would simply ask me to wait while he went to the vault to retrieve the required watches. I¡¯m not too sure the salesperson was thoroughly familiar with the brand, but nevertheless, it was a fun experience. I¡¯m only posting this because there don¡¯t seem to be too many of the boutiques up and running throughout the U.S. as of yet.

Hello everyone,I've been waiting for the 5711 blue dial, but with the recent news of the price increase, I'm starting to consider other options (should've gotten the white dial when it was offered to me a couple months back ).I'm considering the 5167r model instead, and was wondering what the typical discount would be on this piece nowadays.Also, when compared to the submariner gold blue dial, which of the two do you guys prefer?Thanks and hope everyone has a great day.
