Cartier Cartier 27931 wrist watches news:
UPDATE: Apparently this is not real. Casio has reached out to let me know that someone Photoshopped this fake watch, but for amusement you can read a "watch if" below. However, the same week TokyoFlash released a genuine breathalyzer watch.Because Casio didn't think that making a watch with a breathalyzer was enough, it needed to make one in collaboration with a vodka maker. Yes, it is true, the irony of the Ciroc X G-Shock watch is that the timepiece is there to prevent you from drinking too much of what Ciroc produces. For Ciroc, it is a great marketing move as it has been well established that no matter how much alcohol producers advise people to "drink responsibly" people's drinking behavior does not change. More on that shortly. On the watch front Casio lovers can expect a new tool on the G-Shock feature set with an on-board breathalyzer. Is this part of the new tool set for the world's urban Pro Trek watches? For now, the new drinking revolution begins for women as this is a Baby
Ok, here's the watch......( which is setting, winding and running very well)well, there it is .....I love the NOS band I put on it, but as you can see, the poor thing is in lamentable condition .....the case isn't bad, othe4r than the scratches on the front ...errrr., being gold filled, there isn't a lot I can do about that right ? ......anyway, the rest of the case is not too bad, and the movement is rather nice looking I think, and like I said runs well.......oh and by the way, is this a good movement of Hamiltons????but it's the case and the crystal,.....what you can't see is the wavyness of the crystal, as if someone tried to buff out scratches, and ended up melting the crystal ....eeesh, and the dial, well, I do think this could be helped by a re-dial.....this will be a watch I sell at the markets, and I am hoping that putting a further 80 to 100 into it, ( I paid 24 for it) that i can get a much higher price than I could if I just left it as it is ......Whatchu guys think ?
from the elgin watch website:There are several different types of jewels used in a watch, the most common are: *Hole Jewels: * These are donut shaped jewels that fit over the gear axles (in watch lingo, the wheel arbors). *Cap Jewels: * These are flat jewels that are placed on the ends of the axles (arbors). *Pallet Jewels: * These are brick shaped jewels on the pallet fork that alternately engage and release the escape wheel. The escape wheel is the gear with funny "boot" shaped teeth. *Roller Jewel: * This jewel is on the large balance wheel that swings back and forth. It engages with the pallet fork on the end opposite of the pallet jewels. The jewels are carefully shaped so that the capillary action of the oil causes the oil to be drawn toward the gear arbors instead of spreading out where it doesn't do any good.
Considering buying 1200 cc Indianapolis. Can anyone help me with information on this watch? Caliber? Quality of manufacture (FM in general)? Can't find much about this on the Web, and, it seems, there are no viable forums for this brand. Any response will be greatly appreciated.
Hey guys, would you trade a random serial, March 2015, complete kit, SS 116520 black dial for an AP diver I serial? The AP has papers but no box. Would you trade straight? Would you add money on top of the daytona? Would you not trade? Appreciate some opinions and thoughts! Never owned an AP before...
