Breitling A1732116/G717-leather-blue-tang wrist watches news:
With the NBA playoffs in full swing, and LeBron James’s Cleveland Cavaliers moving on to the second round, we re-present our feature on the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore LeBron James limited edition, launched in fall 2013, which had the design input of James himself. Here are five things to know about the timepiece. 1. It’s not what one usually expects in a star athlete-branded sports watch. “King James’s” Audemars Piguet is not predominantly black; it does not display his current team’s colors or his jersey number; it has no obvious references to his sport (i.e., the baseball counterweight on the seconds hand of Randy Johnson’s Ulysse Nardin or the basketball pattern on James’s teammate Dwyane Wade’s Hublot); and it’s not even overly large (the case is a relatively modest 44 mm in diameter). The color scheme choice of light gray (in certain light, it appears almost off-white) for the dial and alligator strap, combin
Does anyone have more details about the blue submariner that they can share? I saw the watch in a magazine recently and just love it! :) Will it be a LV like the green bezel one? What abt pricing and availability? Cheers!
Sometimes we look forward to something so much that it is inevitable that it doesn't live up to the expectations. However, in the case of my BNIB "LE Gemini IV First Space Walk 40th Anniversary Speedmaster Pro" (hereby known as the Blue-on-Blue) I was not dissapointed at all. In fact it has surpassed any expectations I had.The blue dial and bezel are simply stunning but, unfortunately, almost impossible to photograph to full justice. The hand applied hour markers and Omega symbol really emphasise the blue of the dial even further and add a real bit of class. On the case back is the usual engravings announcing the 40th Anniversary of the Sppedmasters first Space Walk and the limited edition number given to this wath. This all surrounds the ceramic and Sapphire Crystal "Patch" of the Gemini IV mission along with the two commanders names McDivitt and White. Even the box and warranty card holders are special. Coming in a grey linen-type fabric (I'd like to think reminiscent of the NASA sp
I love the white metal and blue dials. Agree with some of the criticism of 5270 dial. From what I can see, the 5070 is ~ 120 (sealed/new) and the 5270 can be had for ~ 135-140. 1) thoughts?2) if I wear the watch in a rotation, I see how with the 5070 just set time and wind. But, with PC, do you wind when not wearing, or reset it and if the latter, is that an issue/cause wear?Thx
I recently picked up a PAM 512 as my daily:The 512 is perfect to me. The P.999 movement is ultra slender so it sits perfectly on my tiny wrists and the 42mm size is on point. A weird part of me really wanted the Radiomir look on a typically-Luminor OEM rubber strap. Thoughts? Am I crazy? Purists, don't hate me!
