- I ordered this for a X-mas gift. It was pretty and a great price. The band didn't fold well next to the watch face, but it was worth the cost.

Saturday morning, Vince and yours truly decided to go see their favorite AD, Mike. A very nice 60ish gentleman, Mike has been an Omega AD for fifty years, and has supported them through good times and bad times. Danny is his 20ish son (and a dashing good looking son - just ask the ladies!), and he's poised to take over the business in a few years. . These are two very nice people, are now more friends than AD people to me. Their commercial philosophy is remarkable, and really they make Omega proud (even if Omega is now a bit harsh with the "small independent" AD, and they forget these smaller shops and boutiques made the brand what it is today - but that's another story). Why did we visit Mike and Danny? I've recently seen a watch (in person) with Tritium tubes and it was quite impressive lume. I wasn't able to get an answer how long it would last. Half life for tritium is 12.32 years. Does this mean the lume would be half as bright in 12 years? Wikipedia says tritium costs $30,000 per gram and that it is basically hydrogen and therefore hard to contain. So...do tritium tubes leak? Can they leak?
I saw a great condition 6265 in steel today with a black dial and was wondering if it was worth swapping a PP 5712 for a vintage Rolex? What are the thoughts here?
