SMP springbars . . . .
If I'm going to be in the boonies or in the surf a lot, I put my 2254 on a Maratac 4-ring Zulu. I used to do the same thing with my Bill Yao-ified Seiko 007k in days of yore, but I had extra-thick springbars on the Seiko since the geometry of the Zulu strap's configuration necessarily places a little more stress on the springbars than a normal 2-piece strap.Anyone know if there are thicker 20-mm springbars for the SMP out there?

IWC watches for a 6" wrist?
Yes, my wrist is 6" in circumference, which means I have a relatively small wrist for an adult male :)However, I love IWC and am on the hunt for my first "quality" watch.Most of the watches I've seen are very large 40mm+ which look goofy on my wrist. However, I've found out recently that not all face measurements are edge to edge, so a 40mm face, can really mean much larger. So my question is whether anyone with as small of a wrist as mine (or within striking distance) has any advice on particular IWC models? I'm particularly fond of chronographs.

So I want to switch bands and put my Hornback strap on my new RGRC but the smaller screws holding the SS pilots won't budge and I'm afraid to use any more pressure or I'll damage the screw heads.I would guess maybe some heat but can't get the leather wet so a hair dryer?Any other suggestions appreciated.Thanks

BA 175.0037, celebrating the 700th anniversary of Switzerland. According to the Omega Museum website, it's apparently the most complicated watch Omega has made in series.I've always wanted a highly complicated watch, and I never imagined I would find one that is not only an Omega, but a Speedmaster. George (Kringkily) was been stellar in helping me to acquire it. It's a modular movement -- ETA 2892 with Kelek perpetual module -- but it checks lots of boxes for me and is a wonderful addition. It's 39mm in diameter and 13.5mm thick (almost a full mm thinner than a Speedy Pro!).In fact, it's even reduced the number of watches I still want, since it's hard to follow this one. :PWithout further ado, some early photos...but take my word that it's way prettier in person (kinda li
