It's clear to me that it's gonna be one of those days. Just had a knock at the door. Oh boy, I can feel the rotor bumping inside the package! It's my 18K rose gold Omega! Alright!..until I open the box and get a look at the dial. I was checking out the website of our local Sat. auction yesterday and I see this-Hummm, what have we here, should I drive the 28 miles one way to see? That's a lotta gas for me!Nah, I call up to see what table their on- I'll go up Sat. they give ya about ten minutes to check out.Shane, the owners son whose running it now says table 2 after the tool table, hang on a minute Forrest-Next thing I know he's at the case with the phone telling me- Bulova, bulova, something generic Swiss, a Harwell (check sp) benrus, looks like another swiss etc. Naming them off to me as he knows who his watch buyers are.I'll be there with a little cash and lots of knowledge for when they go choice watch!It's also nice to be dealing with someone for over 20 years, I've made some nice money off of the Foxwell Auction all these years!! Full report later!!!!!!

If the Aquanaut doesn't suit me, will the Aquanaut Travel Time suit me?
Hello,You may remember that a couple weeks ago I posted that I wanted to get a PP 5164A - Aquanaut Travel Time. In pictures, it's an amazing watch but I've never tried it on myself. Just from looking at it, it seems like a watch I'd love, but again, I've never tried it on.I have however tried on the rose gold version. The strap wasn¡¯t sized though and I couldn¡¯t really get a feel for it. Additionally, I just tried on original Aquanaut and didn¡¯t necessarily love it either. At least trying on the Aquanaut fit me though and I could get a feel for the watch. I understand the Aquanaut is a completely different watch than the TravelTime but am concerned that if if I buy it sight unseen, I may not love it and I have to love a watch I wear. I can¡¯t seem to find the 5164A anywhere to try on so if I want it, I don¡¯t think I have a choice but to try it sight unseen. Wanted to throw this over to you guys and get your take.
