Breitling RB0510U4/BB63-leather-black-deployant wrist watches news:
Christophe Claret, known for creating complicated timepieces with tourbillons and repeater mechanisms, has released his most ambitious such model yet, called the Soprano. The watch’s signature features are its 60-second tourbillon, stepped “Charles X” bridges made of sapphire, and a musically accurate four-note minute repeater striking Westminster chimes on cathedral gongs.A traditional minute repeater tells the time audibly with two notes created from two small hammers striking two gongs: one for the hours, one for the minutes and a combination of the two for the quarter hours. A more complex type is the Clarion repeater, with three notes that can play a simple melody for the quarters. The most complex minute repeater is the Westminster, named for the distinctive tune played by the Big Ben clock at England’s Palace of Westminster, which strikes the quarters with four hammers striking four notes on four bells. The Soprano strikes these Westminster chimes on four
OK I've ALWAYS claimed I would never own a G. BUT since being more active as of late,I've started to see lots of G's here & me being out in the field instead of in the office I started looking @ the G-Shock a little more closely.I needed a good bang up piece instead of wearing my Pam's & Rolex's.I'm a bit of a watch snob I have to admit. But I'm here to tell you NOW I understand ALL the LOVE/HYPE over them I LOVE it & it's a 130.00 piece that I scored BNIB for 60.00 of the Bay. I didn't wanna spend alot of $$ in case I didn't like the fit & style. It's also an older model as well ..@ least I think so.I see MORE G's in my future..
I've been deliberately putting this one off to build some anticipation. I'm pretty excited that today is the day I get to wear the Staunton again.
I was watching the match between Germany and Spain earlier, and I couldn't help but notice the chunky chronograph on the right wrist of team Germany's coach. Did anyone else notice that watch, and if so, did anyone recognize the brand? Thanks.
Hey everyone... Debating between an Omega 46mm Seamaster Planet Ocean Chrono (blue dial, blue rubber strap) and a 44mm Breitling Bentley GT or 46mm Navi World, again blue dial/blue leather strap... No, I don't dive, and no I'm not a world traveler, I just like the the larger sized chronos and the blue/blue is a must for me So, any thoughts between the 2? Better watch, brand, finish, movement, resale etc...Thanks for the help
