Breitling 809 wrist watches news:
Dear Sirs,Hello. Hi, I want to buy a new omega watch and is torn apart between speedmaster moon watch (3570) and Seamaster PO (2209) and would like to ask for your opinions on which one I should be getting.Style-wise I prefer complicated looking speedmaster over seamaster PO. However, many of people I know are strongly recommending PO over Speedmaster for some reasons I do not know.I would like to base my decision on the movement inside the watch: 1861 vs. 2500.Which of the two is overall closer to the term "mechanical sophistication" and I believe I will go with whichever has better movement (excluding the fact that 1861 is manual and 2500 is auto)Thank you.EDIT: I don't swim and I don't think I will use it roughly, although I am quite worried that Moonwatch doesn't have sapphire and thus less scratch-resistant.
There are many things you can like about a watch. For me, what has become the most important thing is the quality of luminescence. There are many elements that can give a watch a nice luminescence: good materials, a fine dial, applied indices, simplicity and the right sort of crystal and bezel. For me, I have found that I prefer the old fashioned plastic 'crystals' over sapphire. They may be a bit out-dated, but I think they certainly add a luster. I find that a silvery dial and material such as platinum and gold add a real shine. A coin-edge bezel adds some flash and so can the right sort of guilloch¨¦.This satisfies me. I also think that a watch does not become a 'friend' unless it is worn on a regular basis. A watch simply in a 'rotation' does not become a personal friend easily. I want my favorite watch to go through life with me as much as possible, not simply kept in a dark drawer for some special night out.I suppose everyone has something a little different that they li
I have been really really really struggling with not buying a watch, I told myself I was going to wait and enjoy my grand diver........and for the most part I do and I have, but I was cruising the internet and found this really appealing "Panerai" homage, it's got a great movement in it, looks good, and I think it would get some decent wrist time. What are your thoughts? I was thinking about maybe getting it on a stainless steel bracelet
After some head scratching I tried to change a letter in my search. I guess Lathin was or is a swiss watch company. The research has just started. The letter next to the minute hand is actually an "H"This makes research alot easier.
