- I purchased this watch as a Christmas present for my Mom and she loved it! Fortunately, the size is larger than expected and still remains a delicate looking watch. We are both very pleased.

HiMy latest purchase just arrived. Its a 1913 Trench Watch. The case is a .925 Silver Borgel. I also have complete information on the original owner. This is my first watch of this type so it took me a while to set it. Most of the pictures are by the seller.Tony
Hi all, apologies if I've posted these before (I'm sure I haven't).This is the Longines quartz gold dress watch I sold to get the EL Park Ave. I just couldn't justify a watch I've worn maybe 5 times in 10 years. I've worn the EL more times than that in the last 5 weeks or so (with the trademark muttley blue leather strap of course)....Note - the gold on this watch is not really that 'yellow' looking. It's 18ct gold, but a combination of the flash photography and a bit of Photoshop have made it appear more yellow than it is. I left this effect in because the photos were for posting on an auction site (at a much lower size/resolution) and helped to enhance the gold which was not as obvious at the lower pic size. The very first pic at the top (in the box) is the most accurate colour. As always, thanks for taking the time to have a look.
So I just received my GMT and the bracelet is too big. I call the Omega Boutique closest to me and they said that they will not touch an Omega that was not purchased at an A.D. Is this normal? All I was wanting was some links taken out. Seems like a pretty crappy way to do buisness. So my question now is can someone point me in the right direction on how to do his my self? After doing some research, it seems that a 1.8mm screwdriver is the correct one. Is this true? Also, do I need to put Locktite on the screws before putting them back in the bracelet? Any help would be appreciated and thanks.
If you love an Explorer I .... you just have to love this watch.
