Audemars Piguet 25572 st.0 0782 st1 wrist watches news:
Sponsored PostRolex is everywhere. Turn on the TV on a Sunday afternoon to watch the F1 and you may as well be watching the Rolex Show with a guest slot of some racing cars. Rolex is a quiet giant, secretive and powerful, and it makes one of the best selling, most often copied luxury watches in the world: the Rolex Submariner. The Rolex Submariner did to watch making what the Model T Ford did to the automotive industry, creating a legacy that still goes on to this day. But how?Contrary to popular belief, the Rolex Submariner wasn't the first water-resistant watch - it wasn't even Rolex's first water-resistant watch. When Hans Wilsdorf founded the brand in the early 1900s, he was already focused on a singular concept: making solid, accurate watches for the average person. His watches were affordable, sold in large numbers and did the job they were supposed to do, admirably. The watch market already had its Rolls Royce and Aston Martin in the form of Patek Philippe and Jaeger-LeCoultre,
Got bored one day so I started looking at my dials with a magnifying glass. Have a nice Tissot 516 auto from the mid 60's (judging from the shape of the case). It's gold plated (I think) with a SS back. It also has a date feature. Had it overhauled a few years ago and never before noticed the "Turler" on the dial. Tell me about this dial. I understand Turler was a store in Switzerland. Did they only deal in high end watches?? Does this dial add value to the watch????
AP ROO BUMBLEBEE... I saw one in the wild last night and thought it looked fantastic... Any owners out there who can give me some pros and cons.... Thanks in advance!
I bought this watch in May this year and I have an issue with the clasp since the beginning. Every now and then, my clasp comes undone when I bend my wrist such as reaching my backpack. I took it to the Patek service centre, they made the clasp a bit tighter but it still happens. I was told that they can't do anything about it as it is common with butterfly clasp, even if they order a new clasp, it would still have the same issue. So now I am left with a Patek with a defect clasp. Has anyone had the same issue? Here is a quick demonstration:youtu.be/T3vYeVw0W_IMy last Patek watch with butterfly clasp (Aquanaut 5066) never had this problem despite having a butterfly clasp. I regret selling that watch for a Nautilus. I am very very disappointed with Patek¡
Has anyone put their Skydweller on a Jubilee? On my list for 2018 is the SD (SS) and I have a spare Jubilee (63200) that I am thinking might be a cool fit for it. I have yet to see any pics online of the SD on a jubilee......
