Breitling P26362 wrist watches news:
watches-dealer?received?a note from Rolex today on the appointment of a new brand CEO. The news release from Rolex was a scant, one line document on official letterhead that explained Jean-Frederic Dufour would be appointed as the CEO of Rolex SA in Geneva. Mr. Dufour would be replacing Gian Riccardo Marini. Many in the watch industry are familiar with Jean-Frederic Dufour as the CEO of Zenith watches, a position he will now be leaving. Zenith is part of LVMH, and after a successful time there since 2009, he is making the ultimate trip up the ladder to being in a top leadership position at Rolex.Mr. Dufour is a known friend and proteg¨¦ of the famed Jean-Claude Biver, former CEO of Hublot, who continues to retain a position of influence at the brand and who now has a more senior role guiding the watch brand divisions of LVMH (which also includes Zenith and TAG Heuer, among others). Mr. Biver greatly assisted Mr. Dufour when he started at Zenith and most agree that their combined work has
When it comes to one-handed watches, Meistersinger is the first brand that should come to mind. Their line of watches over the years has grown to refine what a one-handed watch is, offering varieties of utter simplicity, up to ones with surprising uses of complications, such as jump hours and mono-pusher chronographs. This year at Basel, they tuned some of their existing lines, changing a typeface here and there, adding a color, a new strap option, etc¡ as well as added some items that are completely new.Little watch, Big impactThe first new introduction from Meistersinger is their smallest to date. Called the Phanero, from the Greek "phaner¨®s" meaning visible, the manual wound watch measures 35mm with a height of 7.5mm. The case is a different style for the brand, and was a highlight of the watch. From above, it's all dial, with straight kinked lugs that bring to mind Bauhaus classics like the Stowa Antea or Nomos Tangente. From the side (and I apologize that we didn't get a good shot
I was wondering if you could tell me anything about this watch. It was my Dad's and I'm pretty sure he bought it before 1970, or at the very latest the early 70s. It came in a red leather (I think) box. I have found similar watches like it but not with both the date and the numbers 6-9-12 on the face, not even on Omega's own website of their vintage watches. Any info you could give me would be great!front.jpgback.jpg
On this great day an evil man of Sin has finally been killed & silenced!(Osama Bin Laden) has been killed Today just outside the capitol of Pakistan. US Special (Navy Seal) teams entered across the border of Pakistan on our own intel, and finally killed the Terrorist mastermind of 9/11/01, with the use of silent & deadly hand to hand combat and a small arms firefight! We pray & hope this milestone of the Evil Terrorist mastermind (Osama BinLaden) being Killed will now help to sooth relations around the globe, and led to the free worlds recovery once again after the aweful cowardly attack on 9/11/2001 and others before.May we never forget & may we be on guard forevermore against international terror, and may we all thank all of our troops where ever they came from in the fight for freedom, as it was a unity of forces & countries worldwide that took up the fight against terrorism that we all may live in peace. It's a great day, but the fight is not over...Justice has su
Ok. So my wife is turning 40 in a couple of months and I've decided to get her a watch as her gift. I've gotten it down to 2 models. Got some input from her in passing as we window shopped. I'm trying to decide between an AP ROO SS white or a Blancpain Leman model in white. Both have diamonds on the bezel. The AP comes on a rubber strap and the Blancpain comes on either stain or alligator strap. The AP is much more sporty while the Blancpain is a bit more dressy, but sporty enough I think to wear casually. She already has dressy pieces from JLC and Cartier. Here is my dilemma. The Blancpain is an automatic movement and the AP is a Quartz. Is it worth paying this much money for a quartz movement? She likes the idea of a quartz because she doesn't have to adjust the time before wearing it. I just have a hard time getting my head around it. I just wish AP would make this model in an automatic without the chrono. What do you guys think?
