Since Tudor is produced by Rolex I ask my question here; When did Tudor first start using the 2824-2 movement? I can't find it on Google. Thanks
The Navitimer was first introduced in 1952. It was unique by virtue of the fact that it incorporated a clever circular sliderule that allowed pilots of the era to make important and life-saving calculations. We are now in a world where technology has the ability to automatically make, and react to, these aeronautical calculations. However, the Navitimer is as popular now as it ever has been. This is a reflection of the brilliant design of the original and the fact that the sliderule can be used in real world situations to convert currencies, multiplications, divisions and convert mph to kmph. Please follow to link below to see how to perform the many possible calculations on the circular sliderule:How to use your Circular Sliderule | Andrew Michaels JewellersThe Navitimer is now the oldest chronograph timepiece still available that has been continuously produced.A partial history of this historically significant and fascinating timepiece is embedded in this review of the latest Navitim
Joined recently. Only watch I have had for a about 8 years Is my Tag professional 2000 quartz chrono. Great watch but nothing special. My recent desire for a new watch led to WTF where I found my new Benarus PVD Moray recently purchased from timesofplenty. Great transaction and the watch exceeds my expectations. Great community here
IMG_0128.jpgI recently purchased a Longines model L2.693.4.78.3 at an authorized Longines retailerI became concerned after watching Longines unboxing videos because others received more in their boxes than I did. In the picture above you can see that I received the large white Longines box, containing the blue box and the watch, the instruction manual, and the international warranty. In the unboxing videos I noticed that someone received a small tag that was attached to their watch upon unboxing. I have seen that others received another card that read "certificate of authenticity". On top of that, in the video, the instruction manual came in some sort of leather case. I did not receive these items. Are there only certain models that come with these? Did the retailer rip me off?I bought the watch at Bob Thompson Jewellers in Ottawa. I plan to call tomorrow. Please comment if you know what I should have got, and if you think it is important that I ask for these items!
Hi all.I am looking to get a Panerai and would love some feedback. I am for sure wanting 44mm and a date, leather band and brushed case. The PAM00312 has caught my eye but as I am no Panerai expert, was hoping to get some input to help in my research. Thanks!
