Angular Momentum Illum Aqua Water Sports Watch Is Absolutely Gorgeous Dive-Style Timepiece
I am man enough to admit it. This watch is beautiful, gorgeous even maybe. I keep finding myself consistently impressed with the artistic watches coming out of Angular Momentum, which are not only creative, but straightforward, thus keeping my attention and interest. Instead of staring at the watches for a while to decide whether or not I like them, I immediately know that I like them, then gaze at them to figure out why. I have to say however, that this Angular Momentum is part of its "Water Sports Watch" Collection, which really is a silly name. I don't think about watches where I hear about water sports, as I am much more likely to envision women playing water polo or something like that. I'd love to see them put a bit more marginal effort in to the naming schemes behind the watches, at least for US audiences.You don't see watches like the Angular Momentum Illum Aqua very often. A new (to me) Baume & Mercier Classima Executives XL Chrono. It has a great classic look to it, a lovely clean dial with an interesting texture to it. I am a sucker for white dials, and this one just look fabulous to me. Not having a tachymeter scal really makes this dial look nice and large without having to have a huge watch, and also contributes to the clean look. Also not having the seconds hand removes one of the subdials from the Valjoux 7750 movement - if you need seconds just start the chrono! The case size is also just in my sweet spot for a dress watch at 42mm. The strap is a rich dark brown on a deplyant signed clasp at a nice width of 22mm to match the good size of the watch. I might get a black strap to try on it as I already have a brown strap in my lineup but need a black strap and it might look good on this watch.So, on with the unboxing!I had to enjoy the process, so why not coffee and cake whilst doing so!!? Hi all,Need some help. I¡¯m currently looking for a 5127 in the cream dial and am getting confused with regards to the dial colour. Some listings mention that the dial is silver, while others are Opaline, white or cream. Did the 5127 come in several dial colours? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Just wondering any one know why the sudden increase of grey prices from ?7600 ish now hitting ?9500? in the UKdealers are still taking deliveries, limited stock and supply is still the same as it has been, but the last 2 months the grey prices gone crazy or should i say greedy prices?or do they know something we dont?
