Speedy off to Florida Repair
I took my beloved Speedmaster into the Clearwater, Florida repair center today and was greeted by friendly people who seems happy to help me. I also took my Tissot Seastar 1000 in which has been broken also. I'll have to pay out of pocket for the Tissot since it's out of warranty, but the Speedy is in warranty.Talking with them, I mentioned this forum and the Secaucas New Jersey repair center and the horror stories that went with it. She smiled and the watchmaker laughed as they both nodded their heads. Interesting.She said it would take approximately four weeks on average and that it was really up to getting the needed parts.So far so good. Nice people, a clean shop, knowledgeable and get this, the woman at the front desk's father worked at NASA in the VAB building as a technical writer during the Gemini and Apollo project era! Too cool!

I was wondering if one out there has one of these. I have the chrono in stainless silver and stainliss black. Also the non chrono with black center links. the chrono have the ronda 5040D and the non chrono has a ronda as well not sure which one. it's the non chrono 5030 maybe. awesome watch no problem at all. I mean this is a divers watch with the domme crystal for non distortion under water. screw in crown and pushers. a real nice piece and good weight on it.

Instead of starting new threads everytime I take a picture, I'll keep it all here.I still can't get over how much this watch changes under different lighting and viewing angles. I still love my Daytona, but it makes the Daytona seem so one dimensional.Sitting here waiting for the motorcade to run through, decided to take a few cellphone pics.Today's theme: it is ok to wear an AP with a suit. It fits nicely inside a shirt cuff.Waited 15 minutes in standstill traffic for the President to leave the WH.
