Bulgari DP42C14SVDGMT wrist watches news:
I thought I’d present a light layman’s viewpoint of two differing approaches to a large dial presentation. These two watches were chosen because they share the similarities of a comparable retail price, white dials, and complications (power reserve indicator and small date). The first is the Mido Baroncelli Power Reserve. This watch has been in my rotation for a couple of years now and is currently available from multiple sources. The second subject is the Bulova Classic Power Reserve that I’ve recently acquired. It is currently out of production, but lightly worn examples can be acquired on the ‘Bay and elsewhere on occasion. Both seem similar in outward appearance, but let’s dig a little deeper:Dimensions-the Mido case width is 42mm and the dial measures about 38mm in width. The case measures 10mm in height and the watch (with aftermarket bracelet) weighs 5.5 ozs. The Bulova case is 44mm wide and has a height of 14.3mm. The dial measures 35.6mm in wi
I posted this in the invicta forum so I apologize for anyone who read this over there, but I was hoping to get some help from those of you who don't spend much time in that forum. Anyway, Im just getting in to watches and have been lurking on this forum for a bit and have decided I want to get a relatively nice diver. I've been looking around at a ton of them and have decided for a first watch, that I would like a diver similar to: Ocean 7 LM-2 Titanium Timer ChronographOcean 7 LM-2 Titanium Timer ClassicLM SeriesInvicta Force Lefty (this is probably the closest to what i want, but don't want a lefty)Invicta CollectionsInvicta Russian Diver (too big for my 6.5" wrist)Invicta CollectionsSo that's the basic style that Im looking into. I was hoping someone could shoot some more examples or brands my way. Sorry I can't give you anything more than a couple pictures. Does anyone know if there is a name for this particular style of diver? Also, I have a budget of 200-300. Thanks so ve

Hi everyone, this is my first post here and I can't seem to make up my mind. I love sport watches as they are a majority of my collection which consists of a Rolex Sub, AP ROC, and PP: 5227j, 5712/1A, 5726a. Im also open to other suggestions as well but for now I'm just considering the 5980 white dial and the 5164. Thanks!
Well first of all, as several of you know I wasn't sure which PP to buy so I solicited opinions/suggestions from you all on this forum. After weighing all the different possibilities I decided to purchase a new 5711/01A as my first PP and honestly, I couldn't be happier. I decided to park my Daytona and use this one as my daily watch. My Daytona shows plenty of wear with scratches and such but I purchase watches to wear so I expect this one to be no different. Once again THANKS to all for helping me over the hump on making a decision. Here are some pics.
