- I bought this for my boyfriend, he loves it and so do I. Nice to look at and he says it is comfortable and doesn't pull the hair on his arms.

Cartier Cartier 17028 wrist watches news:
Can anyone tell me definitively whether this is a Hamilton case or a contract case? The watch has a caliber 987 movement.
There is a post running at the moment called Restore or NotThis is on the same theme, and I posted it on the Vintage Rolex Forum"My tale starts around the early 1970's when my father bought this watch for a Goodwill type of shop for $7 yes $ 7. The person that sold it had no idea about the locking crown, and said that you cant wind it. The crystal was missing and the dial was bleached white, I never saw this so I cant commit on its condition.A friend of my father, done watch repairs, and he knew somebody who repainted watch dials, so for another $7 the watch was re dialed, serviced and a new crystal fittedNow with hindsight, it would seem that none of these guys knew what the dial should look like, So what I have now have is thisWhat is it, Its a 1928 9kt Rose Gold Rolex Octagonal not seen too oftenThe crown I think is right for the watch , but is in yellow gold OK this is my question to everybody This was my fathers watch, he wore it just as it was, until he passed away, and then
It seems a while back, it was reported that Tudor was to be a significant customer for Sellita, specifically for the SW300.Does anyone know anything about this and what it means for the industry as a whole?timetechtalk/view_top...967&forum_id=1
I am wearing my ESQ quartz, Swiss Made and I noticed that the second hand is skipping seconds. This is what is happening-it stops ticking and then sweeps for 5 seconds and then stops. It then proceeds to do teh same thing around the dial.Any ideas? If i need to replace the movement is it cost effective to change it over to a Miyota automatic? Thanks,Anthony
So here we go again. Got the call from my favorite AP AD today letting me know that he's got the two pieces that make AP great. The EOT and the RO Skeleton in rose gold. He is willing to sell me the EOT at his cost of $54960 and the RG skeleton for 42K. I know the EOT is the kinda watch that defines AP but I've always lusted after the skeleton since I sold mine in all steel. Another caveat if I buy the EOT which will be personilized to my city of choice, I get a week long vacation to the Jura valley with a visit to the AP manufacture and museum. Not a bad deal. So I have no idea what to do. Please help with your advise and expertise. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 4
